Wine-Specific Conditions

Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Wednesday Night Wine Club. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from Wednesday Night Wine Club are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the restrictions of many states, we only ship wine to states where direct shipment is permitted by law. If you wish to inquire about your state’s eligibility, you can reach out to us at [email protected].

All packages are shipped using FedEx and/or GLS, and our shipping prices include packaging materials. During the winter and spring months, weather conditions and longer delivery times can often result in the spoilage of your order. Expedited delivery options tend to be worth the added expense in order to protect your investment.

Due to ever changing direct-shipping laws and regulations, the list of states that we ship to may change at any time. All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We will arrange for shipment on behalf of the buyer, to an address specified by the buyer, provided that in our sole discretion we believe that such shipment will not subject us to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. If a buyer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine may violate the law, we will contact the buyer to discuss shipping options, which options may include provision of an alternative shipping address in a state where the direct shipment of wines to consumers is permitted or storage of the wines at an acceptable third-party storage facility.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Wednesday Night Wine Club is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
